|Kaleida Health Foundation Appoints Director of Development
BUFFALO, N.Y. – Jeffrey Bagel, CFRE, has been named the director of development and major gifts for the Kaleida Health Foundation.
Bagel, a resident of Williamsville, has 17 years experience in development. He has spent the past nine years as the director of development at Shea’s Performing Arts Center, where he was responsible for projects such as the recently completed $4.1 million "Providing A Secure Future" capital campaign, major gifts for the restoration of the theatre and the annual giving campaign.
In his new role with Kaleida Health, Bagel will be responsible for the foundation’s major gifts program; oversee annual fund, direct mail and special events; and supervise fund development managers.
Bagel is a graduate of the State University College at Buffalo, the Executive Leadership Institute for Philanthropy at Indiana University, and Leadership Buffalo. He is on the board of directors at Crisis Services, Leadership Buffalo, and Meals on Wheels.
His previous experience includes the director of annual giving at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital and the director of development and public relations for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
The Kaleida Health Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization supporting the Buffalo General Hospital, DeGraff Memorial Hospital, Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital, Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital, and the Visiting Nursing Association of WNY.The Foundation’s mission is to raise funds for new technology, continuing staff education, patient education, patient programs, research and a variety of community health care programs.
