State-of-the-art stroke floor at Gates now open

The Gates Stroke Team unveiled its new state-of-the-art Stroke Floor on Thursday, December 13, 2007 at a special open house.

Gates has invested more than $250,000 to significantly improve the comfort and care of its stroke patients. The new unit has 21 newly furnished private rooms, radiology viewing stations for physicians, conference and family consultation rooms, all in a hotel style atmosphere. In addition, a brand new Rehab Gym has been created on the unit.
